Brand Refresh, Creation of Brand Toolkit, Internal and External Promotion
The mission of the Pistoia Alliance is to drive collaboration and empower organisations to work together to achieve advances and breakthroughs in science.
I was asked to refresh the existing branding to provide a bold new look and enable more consistent communication across both their digital and print platforms.
The original logo was based on a spire in the Italian city of Pistoia where the alliance was founded. I refined the logo and used the spire to create an eye-catching graphic which, alongside bold use of photography, creates a new, distinctive look.
The branding toolkit has included a carefully selected colour palette, defined typography, development of icons and infographics and a library of imagery to allow them to manage their brand going forward.
